Nursing Service in the Boer War

Sister Elizabeth Amelia BOLE was sent by the Colony of Western Australia to care for the sick and wounded during the Boer War.[1][2][3]

Sailed on the Salamis from Albany on March 21, 1900

The Queen's South Africa Medal Roll notes: p43: Joined on April 21, 1900 from Western Australia. Transferred on December 6, 1900 to Hospital Ship Formosa for duty.[4]
